On November 1st 2007 we were delighted to receive a brand new Iveco 17 seater minibus from the Variety Club of Great Britain (Midlands Branch). At the handover ceremony Judith Haan – the former television presenter of ‘Tommorrow’s World’ – handed over the keys and cut the ribbon. Although the Variety Club provided the majority of the funding for the new minibus we would like to express our appreciation to The Smith’s Charity for their donation of £5,000 towards the total cost.
The minibus is available for groups to use whilst they stay at Macaroni Wood provided they fulfill our criteria. It may be possible for groups to be picked up from and returned to London and elsewhere if they are staying for a full week. We cannot do this for weekend visits.
