In March the Lewisham Down’s Friendship and Creativity Group (DFCG Lewisham) paid us a visit with a group of nearly 30 kids and parents. They are  a voluntary community group for children and families and provide activity programmes that address the development and communication families and children need to form friendships. They took part in all types of activities including feeding the micropigs…

Looks like they had a fantastic time and they left us some very encouraging feedback:

“Thank you for your hospitality, you gave my son and myself the opportunity to have a change of environment and to enjoy a world of new experiences”

“Thank you for a wonderful time, can not wait to come back. Kids have had an amazing time”

“Camp fire, cycling and feeding the animals always a great experience for everyone. Our Down’s Syndrome kids are special and you made them feel extra special”

It was great to have a new group stay and make full use of Macaroni Wood. We look forward to having them back to stay again this summer.
