In March 2015 the Leathersellers’ Company, one of the ancient livery companies of the City of London, approved a grant of £10,000 per year for the next four years to go towards salaries for part-time staff at Macaroni Wood. Staff like Marcus and Anne help to keep Macaroni Wood well cared for and inviting and are invaluable in maintaining the high standards we strive to keep at Macaroni Wood. We’re delighted to have received this grant so that we can continue to employ them for the foreseeable future.
It goes without saying that we would like to say a huge thank you to the Leatherseller’s Charity for their extremely generous donation. It’s donations like theirs that allow us to offer free or greatly subsidised low-cost residential breaks at Macaroni Wood to those who need them the most.
